Catching up is hard to do.

Months have gone by and so much has occurred. December was filled with layoffs for Glenn, a gift-less Christmas and a hopeful ring in of the new year. January flew by with Glenn finding work at last, and me moving back to Chandler and a more affordable apartment. February brought me to the unemployment line and bed-ridden with a 2 week infection similar to strepp throat. I'm currently working a temp job that is supposed to be an 8 week assignment...I'm not holding my breath that the company will need me after that.
Learning to live day by day has been a challenge for me. My life has always consisted of planning ahead of time for most things. Every day is something new and cutting back on costs is a must at this point. Glenn has been a big help as I did my best to help him with expenses when he lost his job.
It's been nerve-wrecking and a trying time for Glenn and I. Hard times always bring confrontation in relationships. There's a part of me that just wants to pack my stuff and move to San Diego, but my rational side knows that this crashing economy isn't just here in Arizona. We've managed to stay together and have reached the 6 month mark although it feels like it's been much longer. For now, I'll keep my thoughts positive that I can return to San Diego soon.

Wishing everyone health and happiness at this rough time in our economy!
Love,
Jena
